Returns and Refund Policy

This Returns and Refunds Policy applies to purchases of paint protection film kits for RC cars made through RC BodyGuard, a brand of Jules Sturgess Automotive Ltd (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

We aim to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. This policy is provided in accordance with your rights under applicable UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

 

2. Your Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

If you purchase products online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items, for any reason.

To qualify:

  • You must notify us within 14 days of delivery

  • Items must be unused and in their original packaging

  • You must return the items within 14 days of notifying us

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

 

3. Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns if:

  • The product has been used, applied, or installed

  • The protective backing has been removed from the film

  • The item is not in its original condition

Due to the nature of protection kits, once used or applied, they cannot be resold.

 

4. Faulty or Incorrect Items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a remedy if goods are:

  • Faulty

  • Not as described

  • Not fit for purpose

If you receive a faulty or incorrect item:

  • Contact us within 30 days of delivery

  • We will offer a replacement or full refund

We may request photos or evidence of the issue.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method

  • Refunds are typically issued within 14 days

We may withhold refunds until items are received or proof of return is provided.

 

7. Deductions

We reserve the right to make deductions from refunds if:

  • The item shows signs of use

  • The packaging is damaged beyond what is necessary for inspection
